The list of medications that are unavailable is growing again. There are 64 medicines and 167 preparations that are in short supply. A larger number of these now say “3rd quarter 2013” or “unknown”. Note that the 250cc bags of D10 are now short. Many services have been using D10 as a backup to missing D50 and D25.
The list hasn’t changed much unfortunately.
Drug Shortage report was shrinking a little bit over the last month, and is now headed back up again. More drugs are on the list, and the time until the drug is available is lengthening for many of the products. There is no evidence of a resolution of this issue. Some drugs, like Atropine, are at very critical levels

Here’s the latest list of back ordered medications. Currently having the biggest issues with Epinephrine, Sodium Bicarb, and Morphine. There is a turnover of some products in this weeks report.
